You loved our recent shoot with the stunning Anna Daly and many of you got in touch to compliment the make-up used. Fancy getting Anna’s dewy glow from the comfort of your own home? It’s easier than you think.

Max Factor make-up artist Lyndsey Cavanagh created Anna’s look by using products from Max Factor.

“For Anna’s cover look, I used Max Factor Miracle Match Foundation in Golden, blended well using a large, synthetic face brush.  Next I applied Max Factor Mastertouch All Day Concealer in shade ‘Ivory’ to the under eye area as well as the eye lids as it works as a great base for eye shadow.  Use the concealer on any areas of the face where you may find natural shadows such as between the brows, on smile lines and around the mouth and chin to give an illuminated look to the skin,” says Lyndsey.

“I added depth and a little extra length to Anna’s brows using Max Factor Eye Brow pencil in ‘Hazel’ and combed through to soften the liner and give a groomed look.  For eye make-up, I began by applying Max Factor Excess Intensity Eyeliner in Brown to the upper and lower lash line, wrapping around the entire eye. I then repeated this step using Max Factor Excess Intensity Eyeliner in black and smudged the two shades of pencil together using a small round tipped brush.”

“I added a little of the same black liner to Anna’s inner eyelid to create an almond shaped effect, which works well when trying to achieve a smokey eye look.  I used Max Factor Wild Shadow Pot in ‘Ferocious Black’ swept over the entire upper and lower eyelid to set the liners in place and to give a softer, more diffused edge.  Use a medium sized blender brush and a small amount of product at a time to create this look.   Finish with a liquid liner, gliding the liner across the upper eyelid and allowing the edge of the liner to run along the roots of the lashes as if joining them together.

“I used Max Factor Masterpiece High Definition Liner from the inner tear duct right to the outer corner to add width to the eyes and finished the look with a generous coating of Max Factor Clump Defy Mascara, added to the upper and lower lashes.  This mascara will allow lots of layering without clogging.

“Anna’s make up was set with a little Max Factor Crème Puff in Translucent across the centre of the face using a large face brush and Max Factor Crème Puff Blush in Lavish Mauve over the apples of the cheeks.  On the lips I used the new Max Factor Lipfinity Long Lasting Lipsticks collection in shades ‘Evermore Sublime’ and ‘Ever Sumptuous’.”
