How to Paint it Pink this October

By  |  0 Comments

The Irish Cancer Society are encouraging people across Ireland to Paint it Pink and to hold a fundraising event at home or in work in an effort to raise funds for the hard working charity – the money goes towards raising vital life-saving funds and supporting breast cancer research and support services.

October is breast cancer awareness month and with many people being touched by cancer in one way or another, be it a loved one or friend who might have suffered with cancer, it’s the perfect time to do something small that will help in a massive way. If you want to paint it pink, there are different ways you can help:

Coffee mornings: The Irish Cancer Society are encouraging people to hold their own pink coffee morning at home, in their community or at work.

Other events: Whether it’s a sponsored walk, run, readathon or any other event, the Paint it Pink team will provide you with some fundraising accessories for whatever event you have in mind. Call 1850 60 60 60 to find out more information.

Sell pink ribbons: As a signal that you support breast cancer awareness month, you can buy and proudly wear a pink ribbon from the Irish Cancer Society. If you would like a box of pink ribbons and pens to sell in your business register or call the Paint it Pink team on 1850 60 60 60 and they will be happy to help!

Or, if you simply want to donate, call the fundraising team on 1850 60 60 60 or visit https://www.cancer.ie/paintitpink/community.
