Galway Film Fleadh
July 5th-10th
For one week every year, the Irish film industry descends on what the regulars call the ‘Cannes on the Corrib’. This festival aims to bring those who make films together with those who watch them in an open, friendly environment. The programme is packed with over 150 films from more than 30 countries around the world, including 16 world premieres.

Groove Festival
July 2nd-3rd
The Groove Festival is now in its fourth year and is filled with music and fun for all the family in the grounds of Kilruddery House, just outside Bray, in Co Wicklow. There are 20 acts and 2 stages, with acts this year including Aslan, Ocean Colour Scene,The Academic and The Blades, to name just a few.

West Cork Chamber Music Festival 
July 1st-9th
Taking place from July 1st – July 9th, this nine-day festival sees more than 100 top international chamber musicians flock to Bantry Bay for a series of concerts, while visitors can also enjoy masterclasses, morning talks, as well as an exhibition of violin and bowmaking.

Clonmel Junction
July 1st-10th
Theatre, circus, dance, rock, world music and comedy all takes place on the banks of the Suir in Co Tipperary. The festival invites artists of various kinds to feature live music, theatre, street performance, comedy and visual art in Clonmel, making it the ideal festival for all ages and tastes.

Loughcrew Opera Festival

July 2nd-3rd
It holds the tradition of being one of the finest Opera shows in Ireland and the perfect excuse to bring a picnic, explore the grounds of Loughcrew House near Oldcastle, Co. Meath, and enjoy some opera in the reception rooms afterwards.
