The singer and harpist on secrets, procrastination and her inspiring parents 

1. What is your first memory? Driving in the car with my Dad and sister Eva. Dad used to sing the intro of a song and we had to guess it. It was always great fun trying to get in there first.

2. The last thing you think about before falling asleep is… Our son Freddie and I thank God for him every night before I go to sleep.

3. Who is the most interesting person you’ve ever met? Vince Gill the country singer. I was lucky enough to record a duet with him a few years ago. We went to his studio in his house and he showed us all his guitars. I was thrilled to see that he had Chad Atkins’ guitar and the original strings! Amazing.

4. Have you ever been in love? Thankfully yes!

5. Who would your ideal dinner guests be? Dolly Parton (I just love her), Bob Geldof, Jackie Kennedy and Coco Chanel. I think that would make for a very interesting evening.

6. Happiness is… Sitting by the ocean on a warm day with a nice glass of vino.

7. Who would play you in a film adaptation of yourself? Julie Walters.

8. What could you not live without? My iPhone.

9. Tell us a secret… I’m hopeless with anything to do with technology.

10. Why are we here? To make our mark on the world in a positive way and leave good memories behind us.

11. What’s your greatest vice? Procrastination: I leave everything until the last minute.

12. You are inspired by: My parents. They worked so hard and instilled a great work ethic in my siblings and I. They also taught us the importance of respecting people and treating others with dignity.

13. The song you’re most likely to sing in karaoke: I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor

14. What is your guiltiest pleasure: Jaffa Cake Biscuits and chocolate; all chocolate unfortunately!

15. What us your happiest memory: The day Freddie our son was born. The day we were excited is an understatement.

16. Where us your favourite place in the whole world? I just adore New York City.

17. The movie you could watch again and again is: Finding Neverland. It’s a beautiful movie and well, I never get tired looking at Johnny Depp!

18. What makes you angry? People who are rude to others and a lack of manners. I cannot bear bad manners!

19. What would you like to be remembered for? I would like to be remembered as someone who always showed kindness to others and someone who could hold a tune.

20. What are you working on right now? I am busy promoting my new album “Sweet By and By” and rehearsing for a concert for the LauraLynn Children’s Hospice at the St Patrick’s Cathedral on April 7th.
