It’s October Month of Cheese, so there’s no better time to discover the delicious dairy of our fair island….

For the whole, glorious month of October Bord Bia and The Discover Farmhouse Cheese campaign will be arranging a series of events, farm visits and tasting across the country. The aim is to encourage the public to try some of our lovely cheese made by the 50 farmhouse cheese makers that Ireland can boast of. According to Bord Bia us Irish are wild for a nice bit of fromage as 89 per cent of us admit to loving cheese with 23 percent of us eating cheese at least once a day. Our fave farmhouse cheese? Well, that would be telling wouldn’t it.
