Monday: Damhsa Down Under

Unfortunately Samantha Murphy was unable to achieve a place at the Irish Dancing World Championship in Dublin, but Thommy Wilson was lucky enough to receive a place and he will be travelling to the competition in the capital. Also in tonight’s episode we will meet Carina Young and her mother Cheryl and see what influence their parents have on the young dancers.

Tuesday: Our Friend Victoria

This six-part series celebrates the work comedy work by Victoria Wood and takes a look back at the unforgettable characters created by Victoria Wood that spanned generations.

Wednesday: The Knowledge: The World’s Toughest Taxi Test

This insightful programme will take you behind the scenes of one of the toughest exams in the world, requiring those who take the test to have an incredible knowledge of London. This episode will follow three people who try to learn the 25,000 streets and 100,000 points of interest in the city.

Thursday: Home of The Year

In the sixth episode of Home of the Year the judges will have their work cut out for them when they travel to the west of Ireland and visit a transformed cottage in Galway city. After that it’s an architectural new build in the Antrim countryside and last but not least the stop by a contemporary renovation in Dublin.

Friday: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring – FILM

This 2001 epic fantasy adventure film was directed by Peter Jackson, in what would be the first of three films in the Lord of the Rings series. Starring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen and Liv Tyler. The Fellowship of the Ring follows a young hobbit who inherits a ring with dark powers and embarks upon a dangerous quest to destroy it. Accompanied by eight others who have sworn to help him in his task, he journeys towards the land of Mordor with the servants of the Dark Lord Sauron in pursuit as they attempt to reclaim their master’s ring.

Saturday: Can’t Pay, We’ll Take It Away

This series takes a look at Britain five years on from the credit crunch, focusing in particular on the dramatic stories of those who are on the sharp end of bad debt. It will also look at cash-strapped Britain from the perspectives of debtors, creditors and those who collect the payments, including High Court enforcement bailiffs and repossession teams. The series follows each case as it unfolds, recording the thoughts and feelings on both sides, the process of repossession and the impact it has on all involved.

Sunday: The Celebrity Chase

Celebrity series of The Chase. In this series the contestants must pit their wits against the Chaser, a ruthless quiz genius determined to stop them winning the cash prize.
