Christmas Q&A with Corrie’s Daniel Osbourne

By  |  0 Comments

Daniel abruptly landed in Weatherfield as Ken’s long lost son with more on his plate than a Christmas dinner! He brought secrets to the Street that he had been harbouring for years but with the support of his new found family, Daniel has felt the sense of security that his has been missing for so long. Could it be things looking up for the bookish Barlow or will he continue to ruffle more feathers than a turkey on Christmas Day?

What are your plans for this Christmas?
Big family Christmas at home with my parents. Everyone will be coming round and we’ll be getting the emergency chairs out.

What does Christmas mean to you?
A party…! Is that not deep?

When do you usually start your Christmas shopping?
December 24th.

When do you put up your Christmas tree?
Usually the week before Christmas.

What is the best Christmas present you have ever received?
A huge Yamaha keyboard.

Who will you be spending this Christmas with? Who does the cooking?
My family. My mum and dad will be doing the cooking.

What will you be watching on TV this Christmas?
I always watch Home Alone 1 and 2, The Grinch and Christmas With the Cranks.

What is your favourite Christmas memory?
Absolutely swearing blind that I heard a reindeer and Father Christmas on my roof when I was younger. I swore blind for years so you can imagine how much of a shock it was when I found out he didn’t exist.

Do you have a Christmas jumper in your wardrobe?
None. I imagine I’ll be getting one this year and I’ll make sure it’s got Rudolf on it.
