Dream Destination: Bora Bora

According to researchers, daydreaming is good for your health and can even cause you to work more efficiently. Join us, then, as we spend a few minutes daydreaming about this week’s must-visit destination: Bora Bora.

Bora Bora is a small island in the south pacific located just to the northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia. It’s surrounded by small islets and an incredible turquoise-coloured lagoon – it honestly is the stuff of dreams.

Why visit Bora Bora?

An internationally acclaimed honeymoon destination, Bora Bora has such a romantic atmosphere. A brilliant place for pure rest and relaxation, this island also appeals to those that have an adventurous side – water based activities abound. Try snorkelling, diving, cruising and, if you’re really brave, shark feeding.

With regards to the climate, Bora Bora is a hot place. The temperature averages at 26C or over all year around. To make it even better, the water temperature is usually about 26C too.

When to go?

According to travel industry experts, the best times to visit Bora Bora are November and April. Travel during these months and you’ll still get great weather, but without the usual swell of tourists. Low season on the island stretches from December to March, and sees prices drop a little which is great if you’re counting those cents.
