Summer is the perfect time to get your skin in shape – we tend to wear less makeup and often give ourselves a few more make-up free days then we would during the winter months.

So whether you’re planning a holiday or just looking to get your skin looking healthy, here are a few beauty boosting smoothie recipes to try this summer.

The Glowing Green Smoothie

What you need:

Coconut water

2 bananas

Chopped pineapple

Chopped mango

A handful of spinach or kale

½ avocado

 

The Detox Smoothie

What you need:

3 Cups of Water

Juice of one lemon

1 inch piece of ginger

Four inch piece of cucumber

¼ cup of mint

2 handfuls of ice

 

Gleeful Green smoothie

What you need:

One and a half cups of water

Handful of spinach

Small amount of celery

1 apple

1 pear

1 banana

Juice of half a lemon

Directions:

Throw all the ingredients into a blender until it reaches a smooth consistency. Add more coconut water or water if it’s too thick. And drink!
