Make... Glenisk Mini Choux Buns with Salted Caramel  

Glenisk has developed a range of festive recipes that we are only happy to try, especially this one for mini choux buns

You will need

150ml cold water

50g unsalted butter

75g plain flour

2 large eggs (beaten)

200g Organic Greek Style Salted Caramel Yogurt 

60g melted dark chocolate

Mini fudge pieces or nuts to garnish

 

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°c. Grease and line a baking sheet.

  2. Stirring continuously, bring the water and butter to a boil.

  3. Reduce the heat and add the flour, beating until the mix is smooth.

  4. Remove from the heat and gradually beat in the eggs – dough should be glossy.

  5. Add the water to a saucepan add the butter in and bring to a boil stirring all the while.

  6. Spoon or pipe small rounds of dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 25-30mins until golden brown.

  7. Pierce the bottom of each to release the stem and allow to cool on a wire rack.

  8. When cool, generously fill with Salted Caramel Yogurt, drizzle with melted chocolate and sprinkle with fudge pieces or nuts.
