Circle K launches new Christmas charity campaign

Circle K has launched a new charity fundraising initiative called ‘You Give, We Give’ in stores nationwide, excluding Circle K Express sites. All proceeds raised from the initiative will go directly to Children’s Health Foundation Temple Street and Crumlin.

For the month of December, all customers who purchase a Simply Great Coffee in a Circle K store (excluding Circle K Express) will be invited to donate 10c extra to the price. Circle K will match every donation made and at least €40,000 in much needed funds will be raised for Children’s Health Foundation by the end of the month.

Children’s Health Foundation, which was founded in 2019, brings the existing hospital foundations together and raises funds for the lifesaving work that the teams at CHI hospitals and urgent care centres do every day. From funding essential equipment, patient and parental supports to producing new paediatric research and services like new incubators, ward upgrades, music and play therapy activities, the donations that the Children’s Health Foundation receives from the public makes this possible.

Broadcaster Maia Dunphy officially launched the ‘You Give, We Give’ initiative, saying, ‘I was delighted to be asked by Circle K and Children’s Health Foundation to lend my support to this fantastic campaign. I’m one of the many people in Ireland that buys a tea or coffee when I’m out and about daily, and it’s great to know that every time I purchase a Simply Great Coffee until Christmas, I’m doing something which warms me even more than the contents of my cup! By adding an extra 10c to the price of your Simply Great Coffee for the next few weeks which is matched by Circle K, you will be helping to put a smile on the faces of many young patients and their families nationwide.’
