Stepping stones to raise money for Aware
Ann Chapman, designer at Stonechat Jewellers has added two new pieces to her celebrated Stepping Stones collection. Stepping Stones, launched initially in 2108, was successful from the outset. Not only because the pieces are really beautiful but because it’s such a meaningful collection. Each piece is designed to reflect the difficult times that we are all facing and the hope of a better future. Stepping Stones represents life’s curvy path with ups, downs and highlights along the way. 10% of all Stepping Stones sales goes to the Irish charity Aware, to support their work helping people with depression, bipolar disorder and other mood related conditions. A gift of a Stepping Stones piece can capture a quiet, personal celebration or a treasured memory of overcoming adversity. It will be a perfect present for a loved one, or simply to acknowledge your own path, goals and successes.
This new range is a limited edition of 100 pendants and earrings, and is available to pre-order now for Christmas delivery. Each piece will be presented with a certificate, giving the edition number as well as the meaning behind the piece.
The collection is handcrafted in sterling silver with an 18ct yellow gold setting and round brilliant cut amethyst. This beautiful gemstone, which is a rich purple colour, is said to dispel anger and fear as well as creating a sense of calm and tranquillity. The amethysts have been sourced directly from a family run mine in Brazil, who place great emphasis on staff health and safety, as well as operating the mine with as little ecological impact as possible.
As jotting down thoughts can help promote positive mental health, Stonechat Jewellers are delighted to include a beautifully handbound Irish notebook with every Stepping Stones purchase.
