How to make... Flahavan's Berry Oaty Square

This year we've a 'Back to School' like never before so to make the transition easier for parents and kids alike, Flahavan’s has teamed up with Lili Forberg to create some lunch-box fillers and post-school snacks. Here’s the recipe for her berry oaty squares.

Makes 25 small portions

 

You will need

2 Cups or 200g Flahavan’s Organic Porridge Oats

2 eggs

1/3 cup or 70g melted butter

1 cup or 250ml milk

3 tbsp or 40g brown sugar

1/2 cup or 60g nuts (leave out if for lunchbox)

1/3 cup or 50g seeds

1 tsp vanilla essence

1 cup or 150g fresh raspberries and blueberries

 
Method

1.    Mix all ingredients leaving the berries till last. 2.

2.    Pour into a greased and lined baking tray and flatten with a spoon.

3.    Bake on 200° for 30 mins

4.    Cut according to the size you’d like.
