While doggy fashion is adorably stylish, it might also be practical for the impending winter walkies. Here are the latest dog-friendly clothing and accessories for your best friend.

Full disclosure, I’m that doggy parent. I dress my dogs up in trendy jumpers before their walks on blustery days and admittedly, I go a little bit wild during Halloween (Sadie was unimpressed at being dressed up as a Hot Dog, as ironic as it was). But a note of caution that, when dressing your dog, be mindful of anything that restricts their movements, eyesight or in any way makes them uncomfortable. The aim is to go for doggy fashion that is actually really practical - especially for smaller dogs.

Big gorgeous Lassie types are more protected from the cold than small or medium size dogs because of their thick coats so it’s rare you’d see Beethoven donning a cosy knit.
