The Hairtalk process is quick and easy from start to finish, here’s what to expect!

1> CONSULTATION You’ve decided you’re ready to create your dream hair so what next? You need to book your consultation with a certified Hairtalk salon or stylist. Hairtalk consultations are free of charge and can take less than 10 minutes to complete.

A consultation is essential due to Hairtalk’s extensive range which comes in three different lengths; 25cm, 40cm and 55cm and contains shades of blonde, brown, black, red, the genius silver line to the highly imaginative high fashion colours, not forgetting their rooted and balayage options. Hairtalk tapes also come in three tape types to suit thick to thinning hair. If you suffer from thinning hair Hairtalk offer a tape called Hairtalk Plus. What’s great about these is that the Plus Extensions are carefully inserted into the tape creating the illusion that the hair is growing directly from the scalp. – is innovative technology ensures that shiny, smooth and natural-looking extensions are created. 2> COLOUR MATCHING The most important part of the entire Hairtalk process is colour matching. Colour matching is essential to creating a natural and discreet look. e key to having good extensions is that nobody should ever know you are wearing extensions. It is most likely that your stylist will choose more than one shade to create the perfect look for you, it’s important to match all tones that go through the hair. Colour matching can also be a fun process due to our variety of shades! Extensions don’t necessarily have to mean just volume or length, you can also have fun with colour.

3> PREPARATION Like everything, preparation is key. Before your gorgeous new Hairtalk is applied, your own hair will need to be washed with a cleansing shampoo, double cleansing is recommended to ensure the hair and scalp are thoroughly cleaned.

4> APPLICATION Now for the easy bit, the application. Hairtalk’s tape application is quick, easy and requires no heat. Application time can vary from 10 – 50 minutes depending on your desired look. You can achieve a full head of extensions in less than an hour, with filler options taking only 10 minutes.

5> RETAPING Hairtalk tapes can be worn for 8-10 weeks, this window will be unique to each wearer due to the growth of their own hair. Like the Hairtalk application process, the retaping process is just as quick, easy and kind to hair! Removal is straight forward and takes just 10-20 minutes and involves no tools. The tapes are re-taped with a fresh band of adhesive tape and reapplied to the hair.
