Turn Up The Heat

In the wise words of Donna Summer, we’re catchin’ summer fever. So it’s time to dust off your suitcase and take a look at these holiday-inspired outfit ideas, perfect for the warmer months ahead.

Airport chic

Dressing for a flight can be tricky. It could be miserable as you're leaving Ireland, so you bundle up to stay warm and then once you’re off the plane, you’re stuck in heavy layers while the sun is shining. Opt for comfortable but breezy trousers and layer with a cardigan for warmth - which you can easily remove if you need to. A day of travelling also calls for practical footwear so be sure to wear good quality trainers with plenty of support. This will be a life saver, especially if you’re always late for your flight and need to sprint through the airport (guilty!).

Beach Lunchin’

Kaftan dresses will be your secret weapon for summer. They look effortlessly stylish, whimsical and feminine. Not to mention, they require no additional styling. Wear over your swimsuit while having a spot of lunch by the pool or stay on nautical-theme and dress up for cocktails on the beach. Sun, sand and sea breeze - total bliss.

Sightseeing

If you plan to do some sightseeing while on your holiday, be sure to pack a pair of comfortable fl ats. Quilted sandals have extra padding which will give your feet added support and they will also allow your feet to breathe, unlike trainers which can be restrictive in warm weather. And of course, is it really a holiday if you aren’t breaking out the white linen trousers?
